The PCTE Group of Institutes came alive with energy and excitement as it hosted the Mr. and Miss Punjab 2025 Prelims, celebrating the creativity, confidence, and talent of young participants from across the state. The event, themed “Pastels”, was proudly sponsored by Jojo International and The House of Rudra (Fitness Club).

Ludhiana, October 9, 2025 :The PCTE Group of Institutes came alive with energy and excitement as it hosted the Mr. and Miss Punjab 2025 Prelims, celebrating the creativity, confidence, and talent of young participants from across the state. The event, themed “Pastels”, was proudly sponsored by Jojo International and The House of Rudra (Fitness Club).

Over 250 contestants graced the stage, showcasing their unique personalities, charm, and style. The audience enjoyed a vibrant display of talent and charisma as participants walked the ramp, transforming nervous energy into confidence and flair.

A key highlight was the one-minute elevator pitch, where contestants introduced themselves, shared their inspirations, and spoke about the stories behind their pastel-themed looks. This segment brought out creativity and authenticity, making the event more than just a state level beauty pageant.

The judging panel, comprising Harpreet Kaur Kang (Dean, International Affairs, PCTE), Mona Mann (Avid Traveller and Orator), and Hassan Kang (Co-Founder, Vasda Punjab), praised the participants for their originality, stage presence, and confidence. The introduction of the PCTE Mr. & Miss Punjab Challenge further engaged audiences both on campus and online.

Speaking at the event, Dr. K.N.S. Kang, Director General of PCTE, highlighted how such platforms help students explore their talents, build self-assurance, and align with PCTE’s vision of holistic development.

By the end of the prelims, 52 contestants – 26 males and 26 females – were shortlisted for the next rounds. These will include the Personality Round, Fitness Round, and Skin & Hygiene Round, leading up to the much-anticipated Semi-Finals and Grand Finale.

The event once again reaffirmed PCTE’s reputation as a hub of culture, talent, and youthful energy in Punjab.
