Parvathy Thiruvothu in a Police Uniform for the First Time
National Award-winning actress Parvathy Thiruvothu is all set to appear in a completely new avatar in her career. The first look of her character, Aleena Abraham, from the Malayalam thriller Pradham Drishtya Kuttakar has been unveiled. In her nearly two-decade-long acting journey, this marks the first time Parvathy will be seen portraying a woman police constable in uniform.

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): National Award-winning actress Parvathy Thiruvothu is all set to appear in a completely new avatar in her career. The first look of her character, Aleena Abraham, from the Malayalam thriller Pradham Drishtya Kuttakar has been unveiled. In her nearly two-decade-long acting journey, this marks the first time Parvathy will be seen portraying a woman police constable in uniform.
In the first look, Parvathy appears calm, composed and commanding. The film revolves around a police station, a murder case, growing suspicion and a complex investigation, with Aleena Abraham at the centre of the story.
Talking about her character, Parvathy says, “This is the first time I am playing a police officer. For me, it wasn’t just about wearing the uniform; I wanted to understand Aleena as a woman—her vulnerabilities, her commitment to duty and how she responds to changing circumstances.”
Directed by Shahad, the thriller is expected to showcase a new dimension of Parvathy’s acting prowess. Interestingly, she has also lent her voice to Kareena Kapoor Khan’s police character in Daira Anjuni. Meanwhile, her upcoming series Storm, backed by HRX and Amazon, is set to add another distinctive chapter to her versatile career.
