Panjab University won overall champion trophy in Inter-university Youth Festival held at GNDU 

Chandigarh, November 29, 2023: Panjab University won the overall champion trophy (1st position) in the Inter-university Youth Festival held at Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar from 26-29 November 2023. 

The overall trophy was received by Dr. Rohit Kumar Sharma Director Youth Welfare and Dr. Tejinder Gill Asst. Director Youth Welfare Panjab University. A total of 17 universities of the region participated in the Inter-university festival in which LPU Phagwara and Punjabi University Patiala secured second and third positions respectively in this festival.

The festival was organized spanning fifty events based on literary, Heritage, Music, Fine Arts and Dance categories. The teams  of Panjab University consisted of more than 150 students from various PU affiliated colleges and departments who won in the PU zonal and interzonal festivals organized under the aegis of the Department of Youth Welfare Panjab University. Panjab University retained the overall trophy for the second year after winning the same last year when the Inter-university event was held at Patiala.
