Chandigarh, May 1, 2025: Panjab University, Chandigarh, will honour its top-performing students at the University Medals Distribution Ceremony to be held on May 10, 2025 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM in the Law Auditorium, Panjab University campus.
In a circular issued today, PU Registrar Prof. Y.P. Verma informed that a total of 867 University toppers for the academic years 2018–19, 2019–20, and 2020–21 will be felicitated during the ceremony.
Eligible students have been requested to confirm their participation by May 7, 2025, via the designated email. A rehearsal for the ceremony will be conducted on the same day, i.e. May 10, 2025, at 9:00 AM. Only students present at the rehearsal will be permitted to attend the main function. No exceptions or late requests will be entertained thereafter.
Identification cards, which will serve as entry passes, along with detailed instructions, will be sent to the respective departments, colleges, or institutions where the eligible candidates are or were enrolled during their award period.
All concerned are requested to strictly follow the schedule and guidelines issued by the University.
