Panjab University Restricts Gate Access and Campus Facilities on Holi, March 4, 2026
The entry/exit to the Panjab University campuses shall be regulated through Gate No. 2 (opposite Sector-15) and Alumni Gate (South Campus, opposite Sector-14) only on 04.03.2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the occasion of Holi.

Chandigarh, March 2, 2026: The entry/exit to the Panjab University campuses shall be regulated through Gate No. 2 (opposite Sector-15) and Alumni Gate (South Campus, opposite Sector-14) only on 04.03.2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the occasion of Holi.
Gate No. 1 and 3 (Sector-14 Campus), UIET Gate (opposite Sector-24), and Dental College Gate (opposite Sector-38, South Campus) will remain closed during this period.
To avoid any inconvenience during checking, employees/students are advised to keep their identity cards with them.
Girl residents may be allowed to go outside the hostel, if they are willing, during this period; however, boys will not be allowed to enter the girls’ hostels.
All the shops in the vicinity of the Student Centre and departmental canteens of PU campus departments will remain closed on 04.03.2026 on the occasion of Holi.
