Panjab University Celebrates Engineering Day

Chandigarh, September 16, 2023: IEEE UIET SB in collaboration with sudans tech conducted an event on September 15, 2023, as a mark of celebrating Engineer’s Day at UIET, Panjab University. The theme for the event was 'Web 3 Sangam' for which the speaker was Anmol Reshi, SDE @Incedo and Founding Member @Sudans Tech, Udayveer Singh, Blockchain Engineer at Antier Solutions and Sanket Agarwal, Leading @QuillAcademy.

The session highlighted the changing role of Web 3.0, how it is better than Web 2.0, and how Web 3.0 can solve privacy issues and increase user data protection as the user controls the data flow, not the company. How a young student can enter into web 3.0 domain and make a livelihood in various domains of web 3.0. The seminar also included the basis of blockchain and its place in Web 3.0. The speakers also talked about the use of crypto wallets and how taught you can create one.

The event was attended by nearly 150 people who responded enthusiastically to the speaker's interaction. The event proved to be a great deal of information for the students as it guided them about their available future opportunities.
