Overall trophy for 19th Annual Athletic Meet organized at PCTE won by B.Tech 2nd Year

Ludhiana March 3, 2023: The sports ground of PCTE Group of Institutes was filled with great zeal, excitement, and a frolicsome atmosphere, as the students and faculty celebrated its final day of the 19th Annual Athletic Meet. The entire atmosphere reverberated with the echoes of applause of the ebullient and enthusiastic athletes where the overall Trophy of Athletic Meet 2023 was won by B.Tech 2nd Year.

Samuel from MLS 2nd Year was declared the Best Athlete Award in Boy’s category; Eunice Flomo from BCA 2nd Year was declared the Best Athlete Award in Girl’s category.

In Shot Put Finals (Boys), the first position was bagged by Sahib from BBA 3rd year, second position was bagged by Harshdeep Singh BBA 3rd year, and the third position was bagged by Dama from BBA 2nd year. In Shot Put Finals (Girls), the first position was bagged by  Victoria from MLS 3rd Year, the second position was bagged by Loveetee from BTTM 2nd Year and the third position was bagged by Kabelo Mokeena from BCOM 1st Year.

In Tug of War (Boys) the first position was bagged by BCA 3rd year, the second position was bagged by B.Tech  3rd year and the third position was bagged by BBA 3rd year. In Tug of War (Girls) the first position was bagged MBA 2nd Year, the second position was bagged by B. Com 3rd Year and the third position was bagged by BHMCT 2nd Year.

In Long Jump (Girls), the first position was bagged by Khushbu from BCA 1st year, the second position was bagged by Eunice from BCA 2nd year and the third position was bagged by Karman from B. Sc. FD 2nd year.

In BasketBall (Boys) the first position was bagged by B. Tech 4th Year; Second Position was bagged by B. Tech 2nd Year and the third position was bagged by BCA 2nd Year. In BasketBall (Girls) the first position was bagged by BAJMC 2nd Year, the second position was bagged by B. Tech 2nd Year and the third position was bagged by B. Tech 1st Year.

Amitej Singh, the Overall Coordinator, said that through such events, we help our students learn values of life which get imbibed into their thinking, thus helping them succeed in all walks of life. It gives me immense pleasure to see all the students participating in the event in large numbers.

Dr. K.N.S. Kang, Director General of PCTE Group of Institutes appreciated the efforts of athletes and said events like these help the students to develop their overall personality and motivated more students to participate on a regular basis to have a healthy lifestyle.
