Over 2000 Students from 70+ Colleges Participate in ‘Colors 2026’ Inter-College Fiesta at CT Group, Maqsudan
CT Group of Institutions, North Campus, Maqsudan, hosted an exciting and vibrant Inter-College Fiesta – ‘Colors 2026’. The event witnessed overwhelming participation from over 70 colleges and more than 2000 students from across the region, providing a remarkable platform for young talent to showcase creativity, innovation, and cultural excellence.
Jalandhar, March 14, 2026: CT Group of Institutions, North Campus, Maqsudan, hosted an exciting and vibrant Inter-College Fiesta – ‘Colors 2026’. The event witnessed overwhelming participation from over 70 colleges and more than 2000 students from across the region, providing a remarkable platform for young talent to showcase creativity, innovation, and cultural excellence.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests including the worthy Tanika Channi, Joint Managing Director of CT Group of Institutions; Nitin Kohli, Industrialist and Halka Incharge of Aam Aadmi Party, Jalandhar Central; Dr. Varinder Singh Rana, Professor at City University Ajman, UAE; and Prenuka Jindal, Principal of Government Polytechnic College for Girls, Jalandhar, a technical education institute for women located on Ladowali Road, Jalandhar, Punjab.
The objective of Colors 2026 was to provide students with a platform to display their artistic and academic abilities. The event featured a wide range of competitions including Prashnottari (Quiz), Treasure Trove, War of Words (Debate), Code Debugging, Alpana (Rangoli), MEDIKA (Mehndi), Kala Kriti (Poster Making), Food Poker (Salad Making), Mocktail, Face Painting, Fashion Show, Solo Singing, Bhangra/Giddha, Best Out of Waste, Reel Making, Ad Mad Show, Solo Dance, and Group Dance, among many others. Students enthusiastically participated in these competitions and showcased exceptional creativity and talent.
The prizes for the winners were distributed by Anurag Sharma, Campus Director, and Vikas, Deputy Director Admissions. The Overall Trophy along with a cash prize of ₹11,000 was awarded to Lyallpur Khalsa College, while the Runner-Up Trophy with a prize of ₹5,100 went to DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology (DAVIET). The Third Runner-Up Trophy with a cash prize of ₹3,100 was awarded to KMV.
Adding to the excitement, the Musical Society of CT Group of Institutions, North Campus enthralled the audience with an energetic performance, filling the venue with enthusiasm and joy. The event concluded with a grand celebration and DJ, where students danced and enjoyed the festive atmosphere, bringing the vibrant cultural festival to a memorable close.
Campus Director Anurag Sharma expressed immense satisfaction over the successful organization of Colors 2026, describing it as one of the most vibrant and engaging cultural festivals hosted by the campus. He congratulated all participants, organizers, and guests for making the event a grand success.
Chairman Charanjit Singh Channi mentioned that such events bring together students from different disciplines and institutions, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and the exchange of diverse ideas.
