Mumbai (Anil Bedag): The teaser of Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow’s upcoming fantasy family entertainer Nayi Naveli has become a talking point soon after its release. Starring Yami Gautam Dhar, the film promises to take audiences into an entirely new world with its unique blend of family drama, humour, fantasy and mystery.
The teaser begins with an ordinary family, but things take an intriguing turn when one of the family members claims, “Bhabhi is a daayan.” What follows is a series of unexpected events that keeps viewers hooked till the very end. Yami Gautam Dhar appears in a completely different and never-before-seen avatar in the film, further raising curiosity around her character.
The film is produced by Anand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma, with Balaji Mohan serving as the director. The story has been penned by Himanshu Sharma and Divya Nidhi Sharma, while the music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.
The makers say, “Nayi Naveli is a story that brings together family, emotions, mystery and entertainment in a unique way.” Yami Gautam Dhar adds, “This character is extremely special to me, and audiences will see me in a completely new avatar.”
