Mediaverse 2025: A Celebration of Creativity, Learning & Media Excellence at PCTE
The Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at PCTE Group of Institutes hosted its annual event, Mediaverse 2025, with remarkable zeal and participation. The event featured an Open Theme Photography & Design Exhibition, where students from across all departments of PCTE showcased their creative brilliance.

Ludhiana, August 27, 2025:The Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at PCTE Group of Institutes hosted its annual event, Mediaverse 2025, with remarkable zeal and participation. The event featured an Open Theme Photography & Design Exhibition, where students from across all departments of PCTE showcased their creative brilliance.
Designed to create greater awareness about the Journalism and Mass Communication program, the event provided a vibrant platform for students to demonstrate their artistic vision while engaging with professional industry standards. A key highlight was the active involvement of eminent media professionals, who shared valuable insights, conducted live demonstrations, and inspired students through interactive sessions that connected academic learning with real-world media practice.
Mediaverse 2025 offered much more than an exhibition. The campus buzzed with energy as students took part in a variety of competitive and hands-on activities, including Ad-Renaline Rush, On-Air, Mic-Check, Reel It, Steal It, Think About the Frame, and Breaking Quiz. Each event was curated to blend entertainment with skill-building, giving participants an opportunity to apply concepts of media and communication in dynamic ways.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 11 leading schools of Ludhiana, including BCM Arya Shastri Nagar, UniRise, KVM, BVM, Geetanjli International, Peace Public, GNPS, among others. Students from these institutions not only experienced the exhibitions but also immersed themselves in the competitions, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the day.
The ceremony was graced by Manraj Grewal Sharma, Resident Editor, Indian Express, as the Chief Guest, along with seven distinguished Guests of Honour, who applauded the creativity of the participants and motivated them with their words of encouragement.
Throughout the day, spirited competitions unfolded, celebrating innovation, creativity, and teamwork. In the end, BCM Arya Shastri Nagar clinched the Overall Trophy, earning well-deserved recognition for their outstanding performance.
Reflecting on the success of the event, the organisers expressed pride in how Mediaverse 2025 became a true confluence of talent, learning, and professional exposure. The event not only served as a showcase of creativity but also reaffirmed PCTE’s commitment to practical, skill-based learning and to nurturing the next generation of media professionals.
