MDU, Rohtak won 1st Prize in the State Level Energy Conservation Award

Rohtak, February 29, 2024: Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak (MDU) has been awarded first prize in the State Level Energy Conservation Award under the category of Institutions & Organizations category above 500 KW for the year 2022- 23 for promotion of Energy Conservation activities on the campus.

New & Renewable Energy Department, Govt. of Haryana has awarded MDU for its energy conservation drive. MDU Registrar Prof. Gulshan Lal Taneja received the award today in the state level function organized in Chandigarh. Executive Engineer J. S. Dahiya, SDO (Electrical) Rajesh Gulia were also present in the Award ceremony along with MDU Registrar. State Power Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala presented the award.

MDU VC Prof. Rajbir Singh has congratulated the concerned stakeholders for this achievement. He said that the university is making all efforts for energy conservation, and promoting green practices on MDU campus.
