Ludhiana, February 28, 2026: The Munjal Birmingham City University Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MBCIE) proudly organized its 1st Graduation Ceremony for the IIT Ropar Certified Al Courses (2025-26 Batch) in Ludhiana, marking a significant milestone in its journey toward advancing industry-aligned, future-ready education.
The ceremony celebrated the successful completion of specialized Artificial Intelligence programmes conducted in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, namely: Al for HR, Al for Sales & Marketing, Gen Al for everyone, and Al for Educators.
The Graduating participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their dedication, academic excellence, and commitment to mastering emerging technologies.
The prestigious event was graced by eminent dignitaries, including Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director, IIT Ropar& Dr. Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman, Hero Enterprises, MBCIE. The Dignitaries felicitated 100 candidates during the ceremony. Addressing the gathering, Rajeev Ahuja emphasized the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping global industries and encouraged students to apply their knowledge to solve real-world challenges. He applauded MBCIE's initiative in bringing premier technical education and IIT-certified programmes closer to aspiring learners and informed them that they should take ownership of the knowledge and use it forward.
Dr. Sunil Kant Munjal congratulated the graduating cohort and highlighted the importance of innovation, adaptability, and continuous learning in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape. He reaffirmed MBCIE's commitment to nurturing talent that is not only technically sound but also industry-ready.
The event was joined by 30+ Principals across different schools and colleges of Ludhiana. Dr. Prem Kumar, Executive Director, presented the institute report of MBCIE for the last one year. Dr. Radhika Trikha, CEO, iHub- Awadh, IIT Ropar, helped sign an MOU to launch new PGP Programmes. The MOU was signed by Prof. Rajeev Ahuja and Dr. Sunil Kant Munjal on behalf of both institutions. They also launched new Courses like Al for Finance, Al for Future Leaders & PGP programmes in Al & Machine Learning, PGP in Data Analytics & Al, and PGP in VR&AR for 6 months duration.
Shibananda Dash, Director of Incubation, launched Aarambh,2026 and unveiled the T-Shirts for the same. Er. Shilpa Miglani, Program Director, proposed the formal vote of thanks and congratulated all the students who graduated on the day.
