Chandigarh, November 16, 2015: Haryana Industries Minister, Capt.Abhimanyu said that Haryana is celebrating its golden jubilee year and Maruti Suzuki can contribute significantly towards the bright future of the State.
        Capt. Abhimanyu was speaking during a meeting with Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki, Mr. Kenichi Ayukawa and other senior officials of the Company, who called on him at his residence here today.
        During the meeting, the Minister informed the officials that Haryana and Maruti Suzuki have a close relationship and suggested that the Company should open a skill development centre in Haryana so that youth of the state could get training to build a better future for them. Also, he suggested the officials of the Company to recruit regular employees instead of contractual employees. He said that the company should also open up a driving training school in the state. In future, there will be huge demand of trained drivers’ around the world and this centre could play a significant role in fulfiling this demand. The company should organize road awareness programmes in the State as it is the need of the hour, he added.
        The Industries Minister expressed hope that Maruti Suzuki would play a significant role in making the golden jubilee year of the state, a memorable year.
        Mr.  Ayukawa invited the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal and Industries Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu to visit Japan.
        Chief Finance Officer, Maruti Suzuki, Mr. Ajay Seth and Senior Vice President, Mr. D.D. Goyal were also present in the meeting./ (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
