Chandigarh July 24, 2025: The Department of Horticulture, Panjab University has launched a major plantation drive aiming to plant 1,500 diverse saplings across various sites within the University campus.
As part of this initiative, a special plantation event was organised today at Girls Hostel No. 4. The event was marked by a solemn tribute to the victims of the recent Ahmedabad plane crash, paying respect through a meaningful act of green commitment.
The drive, being coordinated by JE Aman Singla, saw enthusiastic participation from the Dean Students’ Welfare, wardens of various hostels, residents, and Hostel staff, showcasing a united front in promoting environmental consciousness and community solidarity.
