Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu informed that the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has selected Professor Satpal Singh, Assistant Professor in the PG Department of English, as a Mentor under the National Mission for Mentoring (NMM) envisioned in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Principal Dr. Sandhu congratulated Prof. Satpal Singh on being selected for the prestigious national pool of outstanding professionals capable of providing short- and long-term academic and professional support to school teachers across the country. He noted that Prof. Singh was chosen after a rigorous four-month national-level scrutiny process and emphasized that the college consistently supports its students and teachers in applying for such programs.
Prof. Satpal Singh expressed his happiness at being onboarded in the national rollout and affirmed his commitment to providing structured and professional guidance to school teachers across India through a dedicated online portal. He also thanked the President of the College Governing Council and the Principal for their unwavering support and guidance. The event was attended by HOD Mathematics Dr. Harjit Singh and IQAC Convener Prof. Hari Om Verma.
