Lyallpur Khalsa College NSS unit celebrates National Youth Day

Jalandhar, January 14, 2022: National Youth Day was celebrated by NSS unit of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. The program was divided into 3 activities for instance plantation, panel discussion and seminar on Swami Vivekananda and his teachings. Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra in his address emphasised on the optimal utilization of youth power. He added that youngsters need icons like Swami Vivekananda to guide the society to make Atam Nirbhar Bharat. Chief Program officer Prof. Satpal Singh who is in New Delhi as NSS contingent incharge of Punjab, Himachal and Chandigarh for Republic Day Parade Camp organized this event online. He informed that after tree plantation in the morning an online panel discussion on the topic Youth and Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat was organized where students shared their views on role of young to make India more powerful on world stage. Then, during the seminar Chief Program Officer Prof. Satpal Singh and Dr. Amandeep Kaur discussed the biography of Swami Vivekananda, his teachings and how students can adopt them to transform the society. Prof. Navneet Arora and Prof. Priyank Sharda assisted to organize this event in online mode.
