Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar organizes a Special Lecture on Opportunities and Challenges in Clinical Practice of Physiotherapy

These initiatives aim to equip students with the knowledge and confidence required to face future challenges more effectively.
As part of this initiative, the Department of Physiotherapy organised a special lecture on the topic “Opportunities and Challenges in Clinical Practice of Physiotherapy.” The resource person for the session was Jaspreet Singh Vij from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. The guest speaker was welcomed with bouquets by Principal Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Head of the Department Dr. Raju Sharma and faculty members of the department.
In his opening remarks, Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu encouraged students to take full advantage of such opportunities and keep themselves updated with the latest developments in their field. He said that special lectures provide valuable guidance and exposure to students. He also expressed pride in sharing that Dr. Jaspreet Singh Vij is a member of the first batch of the Department of Physiotherapy at Lyallpur Khalsa College.
During his lecture, Dr. Jaspreet Singh Vij discussed the various opportunities available in the field of physiotherapy and highlighted the challenges faced during clinical practice. He also explained the important aspects and prerequisites that physiotherapy students should keep in mind while pursuing clinical training and professional practice.
The programme was conducted by BPT third-year students Avreen and Avleen. At the end of the session, Head of the Department Dr. Raju Sharma expressed his gratitude to the resource person and thanked the Principal, faculty members and students for their participation. Faculty members including Prof. Jaswant Kaur, Prof. Priyank Shardha, Prof. Alisha, Prof. Vishali and Prof. Anjali Ojha were also present on the occasion.
