Ludhiana, July 2, 2013: PCTE Group of Institutes takes yet another step into the global arena as Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes left for Mozambique, Tanzania and Kenya today as a part of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) Government Business delegation from India.
The delegation headed by Preneet Kaur, Minister of State for External Affairs to Government of India to Mozambique and Tanzania has PCTE representative as the only Education Institute from India.
The delegation will conduct Interactive Business sessions with Government officials of the African country, followed by subsequent Industrial Visits and Business seminars to discuss various business opportunities and market trends. The delegation would also hold a Ministerial Meeting with Ministers of Energy and Minerals, Education, Communication and Health and Social welfare of Mozambique and Tanzania. The delegation would discuss Indian business models, analyse patterns and pedagogies of both the countries.
Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes said that it is a significant step forward from Indian Government towards emerging African countries. He added that PCTE holds a decade old relationship with Africa as more than 120 African students have studied at PCTE in various courses on campus. At present PCTE has on campus global presence of 22 countries around the globe including about 18 African countries
