Ludhiana, October 4, 2013: Blender’s Pride Punjab International Fashion Week (BPPIFW) endeavors to promote, support and nurture a promising list of budding designers along with collections of established designers who have shown on Indian as well as international runways and have made a mark in the industry.
BPPIFW showcased a grand opening with a mesmerising collection by designer house Rose Creations here on Thursday late evening. Rocky S, a popular name in the Fashion and Bollywood Industry is today a force to reckon with his glamorous designs will feature as the ‘Grand Finale’ for BPPIFW.
The grand opening of the fashion week was done by the Rose Creations. Amrita Rao, Anjali Abrol and Anil Sharma featured as the showstoppers.
Film actress, Simran Kaur Mundi and actor Arjan Bajwa have been appointed as the Brand Ambassadors for BPPIFW. They were present to lend support and celebrate the launch of the most awaited fashion week to hit Punjab this year.
BPPIFW is being held from October 3 to 6 at Aveda Hotels. The event is witnessing 10 fashion representations coming together to set new trends in fashion and business in the financial hub of Punjab - Ludhiana. For this season, BPPIFW features 4 Ludhiana, 4 Mumbai and 1 Delhi based designers namely, Rose Creations, Sonu Gandhi, Mumtaz Khan, Riyaz Gangji, Jattinn Kochhar, Mandeep Litt, Sundeep Singh and Ravi Singh, AD Singh, Aslam Khan and Rocky S.
Celebrating the spirit of fashion, in the fourth season, BPPIFW has collaborated with presenting sponsor Blenders Pride in association with Nine Hills and strategic collaborations with Kingfisher Ultra, The Body Shop, Flying Machine, iNIFD, 94.3 MY FM and Mahindra Xylo.
According to Raja Banerji, GM Marketing - Pernod Ricard India, the presenting sponsors of the fashion week, “Blenders Pride has been at the vanguard of fashion with an association built over the years. Punjab is an important market and the brands participation only helps build this association further.”
