LPU organized three-day 21st annual conference ‘Share the Vision-2022’at its campus
Counting year-long achievements in diverse fields during 2022; Vision up to 2025 was put forth for future growths
Jalandhar, December 30, 2022: Three-day 21st Annual Conference ‘Share the Vision’ of Lovely Professional University (LPU) concluded at its campus, where all LPU faculty and staff members participated avidly. Counting year-long achievements in diverse fields; the vision up to 2025 was put forth for future growths. On this occasion, more than 600 university employees were also honoured with 20, 15, 10 & 5 Years’ long ‘Association Awards’ for providing their valuable services.
LPU Chancellor Dr Ashok Kumar Mittal invoked faculty & staff members to continue working in exemplary ways, which would surely be followed by the world. He inspired all by quoting, “Think & act big is in the DNA of LPU”.
On this occasion, various achievements made in academics, research, placements, accreditations, rankings & awards, scientific & technological competitions, sports & cultural activities and more were shared. Recollecting various milestones covered in previous years since LPU’s inception in 2005; Dr Mittal suggested to adopt quality teaching and learning for innovations & placements; research works for illustrious rankings; sports & culture to propagate nationalism through global achievements; and, community services to turn students into globally responsible citizens.
Suggestions for all were to create an innovative education system not only for the country but for the world also. Be pioneers in doings by aiming at sustainable development goals. Use your potentialities as are used in a democratic set up for the country and the world. LPU Pro Chancellor Mrs Rashmi Mittal; Vice Chancellor Dr Preeti Bajaj; Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Sanjay Modi; Vice President of LPU Dr Aman Mittal also graced the occasion through their addressing for decisive togetherness and joint endeavours.
The conference was also comprising its second part ‘Sanidhya’, which recognized the services of Faculty/Staff members in the form of ‘Association Award’ to cherish their long association with the university. Many staff activities including LPU IPL cricket matches, songs, dances, and a four kms long walk in the lap of nature were also organized. Staff members wore related dresses and held props, which enhanced the bond of togetherness among all.
LPU staff members those completed 20 years’ service this year included Prof and Sr Dean, Chief Architect, Dr (Ar) Atul Kumar Singla; Registrar (Admin) Dr Manish Gupta; Prof & Senior Dean, School of CSE, Dr Rajeev Sobti; Prof & Dean (HRDC) Dr Sunaina Ahuja.
