Last chance to apply for BA (3-year old curriculum) at CDOE, PU
Chandigarh, September 25, 2025: The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Panjab University, Chandigarh has extended the last date for admissions till 10 October 2025. The extension applies to all programmes except MBA Semester I, B.Ed Semester I and Advanced Diploma in Guidance and Counselling Semester I.
PU spokesperson informed that this is the final opportunity for candidates to apply for the BA General (3-year old programme with revised curriculum). From the next session admissions will be offered only under the BA (NEP) framework.
For the 2025-26 academic session, CDOE is admitting students to 29 programmes covering Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Advanced Diplomas and Certificate Courses. The Undergraduate courses include Bachelor of Arts (3-year Programme), Bachelor of Commerce (Honours, 4-year Programme under NEP), Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.LIS) and B.Ed (2-Year Course).
Certificate courses offered are Vivekananda Studies (Annual), Women Studies (Annual) and Corporate Security, Safety and Fire Protection Management (6 Weeks). Postgraduate courses include Master of Arts in Economics, English, Education, Hindi, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Punjabi and Sociology, along with Master of Commerce and Master of Business Administration.
The Advanced Diploma programmes available are Computer Applications, Disaster Management and Corporate Security, Educational Management and Leadership, Human Rights and Duties, Health, Family Welfare and Population Education, Library Automation and Networking, Mass Communication, Photography, Statistics and Social Work.
In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CDOE has already introduced the B.Com NEP (4-year programme) this session.
