Lala Jagat Narain DAV Model School and Dev Samaj College for Women lifts overall trophies of Colors 2021

22 colleges and 35 schools participated with more than 1300 students
Jalandhar: More than 1300 students from 22 colleges and 35 schools across region participated in the cultural festival COLORS 2021 at CT Group of Institutions, North Campus, Maqsudan. In this event, different competitive events like Group Dance, Rangoli, Poster Making, Quiz, Solo Singing, Mehndi and many more were held. The first round was done virtually and the finale was held physically at Maqsudan campus where the finalists performed in various activities. The chief guest for the event remained CT Group Co-Chairperson Parminder Kaur Channi.

Apart from its own students, the campus was home to more than 1300 students from various schools and colleges namely Dayanand Model School, Govt. Senior Secondary School Randhawa Masanda, Seth Hukam Chand School, HMV Colligate School, Parvati Jain School, Lala Jagat Narain Model School, Lyallpur Khalsa College, HMV College, UCI Nursing College, Dev Samaj College for Women Firozpur, SD College, Paradise College and Lala Lajpat Rai College of Pharmacy etc.
The overall winner of school event includes Lala Jagat Narain DAV Model School as first and Sant Sarwan Dass Model School, Phagwara as Runners-Up.

The overall winner of college events includes Dev Samaj College for Women Firozpur as first and Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar as Runners-Up.

Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Campus Director said, “Despite COVID-19 impact, we have received a wonderful response from various schools and colleges in this cultural fest that was conducted both online and offline. Students participated with full competitive spirit in various activities and have won the honors. COLORS aim at inspiring the youth to elevate aspirations, stay focused and achieve greater heights.”
