UIAMS, Panjab University Concludes Management Development Programme for India Post Officials

Chandigarh, November 4, 2026: The University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), Panjab University, Chandigarh, successfully concluded a Management Development Programme (MDP) on “Business & Marketing Skills” for middle-management officials of India Post, Punjab Postal Circle. Conducted in three batches, the programme aimed at enhancing the managerial, business development, marketing, and customer relationship management skills of postal officers.
The programme covered contemporary themes including customer-centric service delivery, AI-enabled marketing communication and social media marketing. Interactive learning through case studies, role plays, and group activities enabled participants to translate managerial concepts into practical strategies.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Prof. Y. P. Verma, Registrar, Panjab University, and VivekAtray, IAS (Retd.), former Special Secretary, Government of Haryana, author and motivational speaker, who shared valuable insights on leadership and citizen-centric governance.
The programme was convened by Prof. AnupreetKaurMavi, Director, UIAMS, and coordinated by ,Dr.Manjushri Sharma, Dr.RachitaSambyal and Dr. Naveen Kumar. The initiative reaffirmed UIAMS, Panjab University's commitment to executive education, professional capacity building, and meaningful institutional partnerships.
