Labour Union President Dalbir Singh, Along with His Associates, Joins AAP

Tarn Taran, October 27, 2025: Ahead of the Tarn Taran by-election, the Aam Aadmi Party has received a major boost. On Monday, Dalbir Singh, President of the Mandi Labour Union, along with his colleagues, left the Shiromani Akali Dal and joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Prominent among those who joined with him include Daya Singh, Sahib Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Pal Singh, Sabba Singh, and Maroo Singh.
Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, in the presence of AAP Working President Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi and State General Secretary Dr S S Ahluwalia, formally inducted and welcomed all the new members into the party. Minister Bhullar said that their joining reflects the immense happiness and satisfaction they have found in the honesty, development, and public welfare works of the Bhagwant Mann government.
He said that today, people from every section of society, farmers, labourers, and traders, are joining the Aam Aadmi Party, inspired by the policies of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the people-oriented work of AAP. “This growing trust of the people is writing a new chapter of change in Punjab,” he added.
Minister Bhullar appealed to the people of Tarn Taran to ensure the resounding victory of AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu in the by-election, so that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s hands become stronger and the pace of development in Punjab accelerates further.
