Bringing alive this spirit of generosity and togetherness, Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026, which continues to live up to its promise of being ‘Hindustan Ka Sangeetsthan’, witnessed a heartwarming moment during its special Diwali episode. On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, legendary singer and judge Kumar Sanu surprised contestant Sehajdeep by gifting him a luxury watch, turning the festive celebration into a truly memorable occasion for the young singer.
Known for his timeless melodies and immense contribution to Indian music, Kumar Sanu's gesture added a special touch to the celebrations, making Dhanteras even more meaningful for Sehajdeep. The unexpected gift left the contestant with a memorable moment to cherish, reflecting the warmth and encouragement that make the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa stage more than just a platform for musical competition. With the judges and contestants coming together to celebrate the festival, the occasion beautifully highlighted the spirit of sharing happiness and spreading joy.
The judges were thoroughly impressed by Sehajdeep’s performance and showered him with praise and appreciation for his singing. Following the performance, Kumar Sanu got up from his seat and walked onto the stage to personally congratulate Sehajdeep and appreciate his singing. He told the contestant that instead of just saying something, he would just give him something. Kumar Sanu then took off the expensive gold-coloured watch that he was wearing and gifted it to Sehajdeep. He further conveyed that the gift was in celebration of Dhanteras and in recognition of his performance, telling Sehajdeep that he had earned it. The thoughtful gesture made the moment even more special for the contestant.
