KMVites visit Verka milk plant and Jang-e-Azadi Memorial

Jalandhar, December 5, 2021: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised an Industrial Visit to Verka Milk Plant, Maqsudan for the students of B.Voc.(Management & Secretarial Practices) semester I, III and V. These students were escorted to the industrial visit along with their faculty members named Ms. Dimple, Dr. Pinky and Ms. Manpreet. During the visit, students got first-hand information regarding the manufacturing, processing and packaging of milk, curd, butter, desi ghee and kheer. The plant visit was conducted under guidance of Ms. Jyoti and Mr. Hitesh, staff members at plant. They showcased the milk receiving section, operation section, milk packaging section, dispatch section, automation and control room. The students also had question – answer round during which they cleared their doubts regarding the manufacturing process. Along with this, a short trip was also organised to Jang-e-Azadi Memorial, Kartarpur. Students watched the historical documentaries, Dome show and statues defining freedom stories in various galleries of memorial. Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Gopi Sharma, Director, DDU Kaushal Kendra and the concerned department for successfully organising the industrial visit.
