KMVites gain GST expertise during Hands-on Workshop

Jalandhar, June 6, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has always been making efforts for the holistic development of its students. In keeping with this tradition, P.G. Dept. of Commerce and Business Administration organised a one day workshop on Goods and Services Tax.
The resource persons for the workshop were CA Mridul Mogla and Software Developer Tejas Khanna. CA Mridul Mogla acquainted the students with concepts like types of GST, inter-state and intra-state transactions, supply, zero rated supply, exempt supply, HSN, SAC and compensation cess etc. with the help of suitable illustrations.
Tejas Khanna gave practical demonstration of online registration process on GST portal in detail.
Later, the resource persons answered the queries of the students in detail.
Principal Prof Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of P.G. Dept of Commerce & Business administration for taking initiatives to make students abreast of the latest developments in the field of commerce industry.
