KMV organizes poster making, slogan writing competition and sampling of life 

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organized an online poster making competition, slogan writing competition and Sampling of Life (in your home or pot) in order to mark the celebration of World Environment Day. The theme for the competition was Biodiversity. The competition was held online in which more than 100 students from all the streams participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. During the competition, students accentuated various issues such as Save Earth, Save Water, Biodiversity Conservation & Save Nature etc. through their posters, slogans and plantation drives. The main motive of this competition was to make the students aware about the conservation of Biodiversity and Environment. Meanwhile many students also planted various useful plants (ornamental, medicinal and herbs etc.) in their homes. 
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the students of KMV are fully rounded personalities and they always participate in plethora of meaningful activities organized by the college for their holistic development. She adumbrated that KMV will continue its awareness campaign on regular basis so that students and faculty members of KMV can make their humble contribution to this humanitarian cause. 
Principal lauded the efforts of Mrs. Sadhna Tandon and Ms Sufalica for organizing such a meaningful activity and also sensitizing the students on this issue.
