KMV organises an insightful seminar on Cracking Competitive Exams

The College has a sustained record of Excellence in Placements and many students have successfully cleared various Competitive exams for CA, ICWA, UGC NET, GATE, Bank PO, Railways and many more due to the untiring and ceaseless efforts by the Faculty of Centre for Competitive Exams.

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has been striving tirelessly for the holistic growth of students. The College has a sustained record of Excellence in Placements and many students have successfully cleared various Competitive exams for CA, ICWA, UGC NET, GATE, Bank PO, Railways and many more due to the untiring and ceaseless efforts by the Faculty of Centre for Competitive Exams. 
Keeping with this trend, a Seminar on How to Prepare for Competitive Exams was organized on  aimed at guiding students toward informed career choices and skills development. Kumar Sambhav was the resource person for this session. 92 students from BBA Semester IV, B.Com Sem IV, M.Com FYIP Sem IV, M.Com Semester II, B.Com Sem VI, B.Sc Bio-Technology Sem II, M.Sc Zoology Sem IV and BBA Sem II participated in this event covering emerging career avenues in Government Sector. 
Expert counsellor, Kumar Sambhav offered personalised guidance, helping students map out academic and professional goals aligned with current job market needs. He highlighted the strategy to be followed by the students for preparing for various competitive exams. He also emphasised on maintaining consistency and adopting a positive mindset to crack these exams. He discussed the various patterns of different centre and state level exams like Punjab Patwari, RBI and SSC, highlighting the importance of current affairs in these exams. 
(Prof.) Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the organising team comprising Dr. Neeraj Maini, Dr. Sabina Batra, Dr. Pardeep Arora, Dr. Archana Saini, Dr. Iqbal Singh and Sanjana for their dedicated efforts in organising such awareness drives for the holistic development of the students.
