NCC ‘B’ Certificate Practical Examination Held at Lyallpur Khalsa College
Lyallpur Khalsa College successfully conducted the NCC ‘B’ Certificate Practical Examination at its college grounds, showcasing discipline, skill and enthusiasm among cadets from various institutions.
Jalandhar: Lyallpur Khalsa College successfully conducted the NCC ‘B’ Certificate Practical Examination at its college grounds, showcasing discipline, skill and enthusiasm among cadets from various institutions.
Briefing the press, Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu Principal of Lyallpur Khalsa College, informed that a total of 594 NCC cadets from 2 PB NCC Battalion, 8 PB NCC Battalion and 2 PB Girls NCC Battalion, representing different colleges, appeared in the examination. He highlighted that the practical examination carried 150 marks and evaluation comprising in key areas i.e. Map Reading, Field Craft and Battle Craft, Drill, Communication Skills and Weapon Training.The examination was conducted under the leadership of Col Ajay Lumba, Commanding Officer, 8 PB NCC Battalion, who served as the Presiding Officer.
Dr. Karanbir Singh, Associate NCC Officer of Lyallpur Khalsa College, and Lt. Rahul Bhardwaj of Doaba College acted as members of the examination board.
Sub Major Gulzar Singh of 2 PB NCC Battlion helped by providing the logistics support for the examination.
Dr. Rashpal Singh appreciated the discipline, confidence and competence displayed by the cadets and emphasized the crucial role of NCC in developing leadership qualities, patriotism and a spirit of service among youth. He also acknowledged the coordinated efforts of the NCC staff and college administration in ensuring the smooth and efficient conduct of the examination.
