KMV organises an industrial visit to ITC, Kapurthala

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always makes consistent efforts to enhance the practical skills and knowledge of the students. In continuation with this practice, Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Business Administration organized an industrial visit to ITC, Kapurthala. The objective of the visit was to give industrial exposure to the students of M.Com Sem II and Sem IV and B.B.A Sem VI. Roshan Deen, Head, HR, ITC Kapurthala and Lokesh, Assistant HR Manager accorded warm welcome to the students and faculty. 

Kritika from HR Department acquainted the students with the history of company, wide range of products offered by ITC and its production policies through a power point presentation. Then, they were given practical exposure through visit to different divisions where Bingo Snacks, B Natural Juices and  Mom’s Magic Biscuits  are manufactured and packed. Mr. Chitranjan Pandey, Assistant Manager, Beverage Division and Kulwant,  Manufacturing Executive, Snacks Division explained the manufacturing process in detail and provided an insight into the real working environment. 

Principal Prof.  (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Dr. Neeraj Maini, Head, PG Department of Commerce and the whole faculty for having organized such a fruitful educational tour to such a well-reputed organization.
