KMV Celebrates Linguistic Diversity with Vibrant Multilingual Poetry Recitation under NEP 2020 Guidelines

Jalandhar, April 4, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a vibrant Poetry Recitation event in alignment with the vision of NEP 2020, emphasizing multilingualism and cultural awareness. The event aimed to celebrate India’s rich linguistic diversity and encourage students to express themselves through various languages. The program was held under the guidance of Director Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, who appreciated the efforts of all participants and coordinators. She congratulated the students for their enthusiastic participation and highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting linguistic heritage in contemporary education.
The event witnessed active participation from students who recited poems in Hindi, Punjabi, and English, showcasing cultural richness and creative expression. Their performances reflected the spirit of unity in diversity and demonstrated a deep appreciation for different linguistic traditions.
Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Madhumeet, addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of cultural awareness and multilingualism in shaping well-rounded individuals. She emphasized that such initiatives play a crucial role in fostering mutual respect, inclusivity, and national integration among students, and congratulated coordinator Dr. Monika Rani and co-coordinators, Dr. Iqbal and Dr. Prabha.
