Khanpur Kalan, April 20, 2024: An interactive session was organized at BPSMV under the aegis of Department of Students Welfare and University Centre for Competitive Exams. Vice Chancellor Prof Sudesh presided over the program. 

 

As Chief Guest, Kargil war hero and Indian Blade Man, Major Devender Pal Singh interacted with the girl students. India's first amputee marathon runner, Maj. D.P. Singh, in his motivational address, said that women have immense power. The power that a mother has cannot be found in anyone else. An educated daughter can enrich the entire family and society, he added.

 

He urged the girl students to teach and empower the society and country with the learning's from this prestigious university. He motivated the girls to be self dependent and bring a change to the world. Maj. Singh asked the students to introspect, learn from their failures and improve it.

 

In her presidential address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sudesh said that the entire country is proud of the army and brave soldiers, who lay their lives to protect the country. Prof. Sudesh said that there is no dearth of potential among our daughters. She said that BPS Mahila Vishwavidyalaya is committed to make every single effort towards achieving its goal of women education and empowerment. She motivated the girl students to use the power of their mind to achieve the bigger goals. Registrar Dr. Neelam Malik, Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Sanket Vij, Dean Students Welfare Prof. Shweta Hooda, Director (UCCE) Lt. Col. (Dr.) Anil Balhara, other faculty members and students were present on the occasion.
