The school campus was transformed into a vibrant reflection of Punjabi heritage, decorated with colourful posters, floral arrangements, and traditional artifacts that captured the true spirit of the festival.
The celebrations commenced with a special morning assembly where students were educated on the historical and cultural significance of Baisakhi, particularly its importance in Sikh tradition. The morning unfolded with a series of literary tributes, including poignant poetry recitations, speeches, and short plays that beautifully illustrated the essence of the day.
The cultural vibrance of the event was further elevated by high-energy Bhangra and Giddha performances. Students, adorned in traditional Punjabi attire, danced to the rhythmic beats of the dhol, captivating the audience. Adding to the charm, junior students participated in a traditional ramp walk, showcasing the beauty of ethnic wear.
Beyond the performances, the school organized a mini-exhibition featuring crops, agricultural implements, and cultural artifacts.
