Ivy World Playschool, Civil Lines organized ‘Vegetable market activity’ for the tiny tots

Jalandhar, September 15, 2022: Ivy World Playschool, Civil Lines organized ‘Vegetable market activity’ for the tiny tots under the superior guidance of the management of the school, Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, Vice President Ena Vasal, CEO Raghav Vasal, Director Aditi Vasal, Principal Sanjeev Chauhan and Headmistress Shefali Sharma.

To make the children understand that vegetables are an essential component of a healthy diet for physical growth and sound health, a real vegetable market was set up in the school premises. Children got to know and explore different kinds of fruits and vegetables in this activity. The concept behind this activity was to teach young minds the importance of eating vegetables and fruits, buying and selling things doing monetary transactions and make them experience the ambience of the market. They had great fun doing the role play of buying and selling vegetables. They were excited using the weighing scale and pretending to be fruit and vegetable vendor and buyers. The enriching experience gave the students an opportunity to showcase their verbal skills and feel confident about themselves. It created a positive learning environment which provided our students an amazing experience and they could connect this activity to the real-life experience.

It was altogether a learning and fun experience for the little learners. The enthusiastic participation of Ivyians was highly acknowledged and appreciated by the school management.
