The Centre for Social Work, Panjab University, Chandigarh, organised an interactive session with Teach for India for the MSW students under the guidance of faculty members Prof. Monica Munjial Singh, Chairperson, and Dr.Gaurav Gaur.

Chandigarh, September 27, 2025: The Centre for Social Work, Panjab University, Chandigarh, organised an interactive session with Teach for India for the MSW students under the guidance of faculty members Prof. Monica Munjial Singh, Chairperson, and Dr.Gaurav Gaur.
 
Prof. Monica Munjial Singh warmly welcomed the guest speaker, Ms.Shraddha Dahiphale from Teach for India.
 
The session was attended by students from both first and second year, along with research scholars, totaling 43 participants.
 
Dahiphale introduced the vision and mission of Teach for India, focusing on reducing educational inequity by engaging passionate fellows in under-resourced schools. She explained the fellowship structure, shared inspiring stories, and motivated students to explore opportunities in education and community engagement as part of their social work journey.
 
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students actively participated and discussed ways to connect social work education with educational equity and social change.
