Interactive session on Industrial 3D Printing

TechNova and Markforged, in association with Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) organized an interactive session on Industrial 3D Printing, at their CICU Complex in Focal Point, Ludhiana. Along with live demonstration of 3D printing machines, software and materials, there was a comprehensive display of a samples created with the solution. The session also included an insightful discussion on various applications of the 3D printing solutions and the plethora of opportunities for the industry. Interesting case studies on how various companies and industries have benefited from it were shared.

Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU, who keenly observed the machines and applications. While addressing the audience, he urged the industry members to welcome & adopt new technologies and automation. He mentioned that this is the only way to differentiate and grow.

He shared that the objective to organise this program to aware the industry about new technologies of 3D Printing platform for Industry. These latest technologies will change the working of industry by Rapid Prototyping, Print on Demand, Strong and Lightweight Parts, Fast Design and Production, Minimising Waste, Cost Effective and Ease of Access.

He also mentioned that CICU is going to setup a Centre for Manufacturing Excellence with all the latest facilities for industry.

Aditya Savardekar – MGR, TechNova gave a detailed presentation on the Markforged 3D printing ecosystem, materials and live demo of the machine and software. Mr. Rahul Bhargava – Sr. MGR., TechNova shared that the focus of both TechNova & Markforged teams is to identify customers’ pain points, analyse & quantify the same and then follow a process to offer the right solution to resolve these pain points. The need for every business is unique, hence the solutions have to be unique too.

The program was attended by more than 50 industry leaders from Ludhiana and Chandigarh, including the President of CICU.
