Interaction of the Alumnus

Chandigarh, April 22, 2024: The Department of Biochemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh organised an "Interaction of the Alumnus" with the students and faculty of the department. 

Dr. Mohan Singh Sran, Principal Scientist, GlaxoSmithKline, Philadelphia an alumnus of Department of Biochemistry was also present. in his talk "Planning a career path" Dr. Mohan Singh highlighted the role of learning while in university. He said, "Put yourself out there, meet people, network, gain experience and grow your soft skills. This will help you pick a career path and allow you to market yourself better to get the job that you want post university. Pick up analytical skills, critical thinking skills, communication skills, writing skills, etc. during your years at University." 

Chairperson Prof. Amarjit Singh Naura emphasized the role of alumni of the department in inspiring the young learning minds to be better prepared for future and well equipped to handle challenges.
