Jalandhar, January 22, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage & Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar's B.Voc Retail Management students have organized an exhibition at Sukriti- the Retail Lab. A wide variety of beautifully made artifacts, home décor, apparels and jewellery designed by the students of KMV are on sale. The exhibition has been a big hit with all the students and faculty members. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the students for this exceptional initiative. She maintained that this exhibition provides a wide range of reasonably priced products for the students and faculty to choose form. She also averred that such activities provide students with ample opportunities to learn and explore the working of a multi-brand retail store as they also become acquainted with practical aspects of retail management. It is worth a mention here that K.M.V. is the first college of GNDU which has been granted D.D.U. Kaushal Kendra by MHRD, Govt. of India. The students of Retail Management have been doing exceptionally well and have got placement in renowned retail organizations through Retailers Association's Skill council of India (RASCI). Events such as the present one would enhance the knowledge and employability skills and would also make the students industry ready. Principal also appreciated Mrs Rashmi Sharma, Ms Chetna and Ms Dimple for always providing valuable guidance to the budding entrepreneurs and designers. Also present on the occasion were Mrs Seema Jain, Dr Neeraj Maini, Dr Madhumeet, Dr Gopi Sharma & Ms Dilpreet.
