Jalandhar, July 10, 2025: Under the leadership of President Ms. Inderkiran Toor, the InnerWheel Club (IWC) of Jalandhar has successfully carried out a series of impactful community service initiatives aimed at spreading joy and support among underprivileged and special-needs communities.
In one heartwarming gesture, a club member chose to celebrate her daughter-in-law’s birthday with the children of colony workers at the Learning Hub Society. The celebration turned into a lively and inclusive event filled with happiness and laughter.
Demonstrating its commitment to health and welfare, the club extended substantial financial assistance to a 21-year-old accident victim. The support covered two critical surgeries and included provision for a protein-rich diet to promote recovery.
Fulfilling the wishes of children at the Mother Teresa Home, the club served an array of fast food treats including burgers, noodles, ice cream, and fruity beverages, adding delight to their day.
During the closing ceremony of the Annual Summer Camp organized by the Learning Hub Society, the club distributed certificates, medals, and trophies to all winners and participants. This gesture served to boost the morale of children from economically weaker sections and encouraged them to continue participating in such constructive activities.
Additionally, a club member made a generous contribution at the Chanan Vocational and Skill Training Centre, which supports children with Down Syndrome. Along with distributing snacks to the children, a cash donation was also made to help meet the center’s ongoing needs.
Through these thoughtful projects, the InnerWheel Club of Jalandhar continues to uphold its mission of service, compassion, and inclusivity in society.
