Industrialists meet Director and Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Punjab in Batala

Chandigarh/Batala, December 12, 2014: A delegation of local industrialists (Batala) met the Director and Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Punjab, Raminder Singh today at the seminar hall of R.R Bawa D.A.V College for Girls, Batala.

Stating this, a spokesperson of the department said that in the meeting the industrialists apprised the Director of their problems regarding certain regulations primarily concerning with the departments of pollution, sales tax, excise & taxation and PSIEC. They voiced their concern that due to some regulations with regard to these departments they are facing difficulty in running their business establishments. They also suggested the up gradation of technology in accordance with modern times.

The Director listened patiently to all their problems and solved the ones concerned with industry and commerce on the spot itself. He also assured the delegation of getting their concerns regarding other departments addressed by co-coordinating with the departments.

In this meeting apart from industrial advisor T.L. Khosla, General Manager District Industries Centre, Batala, Balwinder pal Singh,  General Manager, Institutes for machine tools technology, Batala, Major Singh, Mr. Bhupathi , MSME, Ludhiana several local industrialists Rakesh Goyal, V M Goyal, Bharat bhushan, Hari krishan Trehan, Ravinder Handa,  Satish sarin, Vinesh Shukla, Bint Khular, Amarjit Singh, Sukhjinder Singh, Ramesh Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Rakesh Bajaj, Kuldip Singh, Arun Mahajan, Rajwant singh, Vinay srivastav, Sanjiv Sharma, Pavan Trehan, Budhish Agarwal, shvam tiwari,  Surinder Singh, Munish Khosla, sudesh Khosla were present.
