India's Music Fraternity comes together as Jury on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

Singers to be evaluated by Jury Members as well as Mentors Sajid-Wajid, Pritam and Mika
Starting Saturday, 26th March, India's first and the most definitive singing reality show - Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is back on Zee TV with an all-new season after a hiatus of four years. The promos of the show have hit the tube and have already generated a lot of buzz around the show and for its popular mentors Sajid- Wajid, Pritam Chakravorty and Mika Singh. But that's not all. For the first time ever on Indian Television, Zee TV brings a panel of 30 jury members that will comprise experts from the music fraternity, who will closely assess the aspiring singers right from the audition stage and help the mentors select only the finest talent throughout the season. They represent different components of today's music scene from DJs, music producers to singers, arrangers and lyricists, engineers, etc.
Some of the more recognized names amongst the 30 member jury include Ash King- the Playback Singer for the film Delhi-6, Te Amo for the film Dum Maaro Dum, I Love You for the film Bodyguard and many more songs, former Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestant Divya Kumar who has given hits like Subhaarambh for the film Kai Po Che, Chanchal Man Ati Random from the film Shuddh Desi Romance and Maston Ka Jhund from the Farhan Akhtar starrer Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Joining them in the league is the most renowned sound engineer Eric Pillai who has worked extensively within the Indian music industry with artistes such as Vishal & Shekhar, Pritam, Sajid-Wajid, Meet Bros, Anjjan, Ankit Tiwari and Euphoria to name a few. Shashi Suman- Singer and music director who has closely worked on films such as Bajirao Mastani, Mary Kom and Ram Leela . Music composer Raju Shankar known for his work with Ismail Darbar , Anand Raj Anand , Daboo Malik , Ram Laxshman, Daler Mehndi, Sukhvinder Singh and Mika Singh. Daman Sood, a sound recording engineer, best known for his work with musicians such as Jagjit Singh and Abida Parveen, as well as his prolific work as a Song Recordist for many Bollywood film soundtracks, including Devdas, Sarfarosh and Vaastav. The very beautiful and young Palak Muchhal, noted as a specialist in modern concepts, with a unique ability to blend various genres of music, Shilpa Rao - the melodious Singer who has sung hit songs like Tose Naina and Khuda Jaane from Bachna Ae Haseeno, Mohammed Irfan- This former Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestant known for having sung Behene De, Phir Mohabbat along with Arijit Singh and Saim Bhat in Mukesh Bhatt's 2011 film Murder 2, Baarish from Yaariyan, Muskurane from Citylights, Banjaara from Ek Villain and Tu Hi Tu from Kick.
The competition is getting tougher than ever and to identify, groom and hone the skills of the current crop of contestants this season - the entire Indian Music industry has come together at the most definitive singing reality platform of India- Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. So every single aspirant will be evaluated from 30 different musical perspectives.
