Chandigarh, March 20, 2023: National Service Scheme, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized the Inauguration Ceremony for the Seven Days Special Camp under the chief patronage of Prof. Renu Vig (Vice Chancellor, Panjab University).
The ceremony began with facilitating the Chief Guest, Dr. Nemi Chand (State Liaison Officer, NSS, Chandigarh) and the Guest of Honor, Prof. Yajvender Pal Verma (NSS Programme Coordinator). In his speech, Dr. Nemi Chand, spoke about the motto “Not Me But You” and encouraged the volunteers to be more helpful for others and raised the issue regarding the youth's health.
The camp is being organized by the NSS Programme Officers Dr. Vivek Verma, Dr. Simran Preet And Dr. Amita Verma along with the student coordinators Ujjawal Aggarwal, Mannat Dubey And Sandeep Bajwa.
There are around 100 participants in the camp from various departments of Panjab University.
