University will invest Rupee One Crore more on University labs, classrooms till 31 July
Admission started for other campuses, Distance Education and Ph.D courses
Jalandhar, May 12, 2017: I.K.Gujral Punjab Technikal University started its online centralized counseling by fee deposition process. The University has started its Online Fee deposition for centralized online counseling. The students had to deposit a fee of Rs. 2000 to get a seat transparently. In online counseling, courses approved by AICTE are included viz., B.Tech, B. Arch., B. Pharma first year, lateral course and Fee waiver scheme too. These courses are in the campus as well as in affiliated colleges.
University spokesperson said that University has started its academic campus last year only. The courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc. Mathematics, Food Technology, Journalism are being taught in university campus. University is developing its main campus as per the interest of the students in its various courses. University will be spending Rs. One crore more for infrastructure development till 31 July. This amount will be spent for the development of Labs, Hostel and Classrooms etc.
According to the spokesperson, the admission process has already been started in main campus of the university, affiliated colleges and other campuses like Amritsar, Batala, Bhikhiwind, Dinanagar, Hoshiarpur, Khunimajra. In addition, admission has also been started for Distance Education courses and Ph.D. Students can visit official website www.ptu.ac.in for further queries.
