Bengaluru, August 25, 2025: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, a leading institution recognized for #BuildingBusinessOwners, successfully concluded its flagship event, the Leadership Summit 2025. The conclave brought together a distinguished gathering of CXOs, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders under the theme “The CXO Compass: Navigating beyond Boundaries to Build Future Ready Organizations.”
The two-day summit hosted six engaging panel discussions that explored multiple dimensions of leadership. The first day featured conversations on the evolving virtues that differentiate successful CXOs, the role of people-first strategies in building high-performance organizations, and the challenges of embracing disruptions in a rapidly changing business environment. The second day addressed leadership in the context of global geopolitics, the delicate balance of thinking globally while acting locally, and how the integration of technology with human potential will define the future of organizations.
Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Director-in-Charge, IIM Raipur, highlighted the importance by stating, “It is an extraordinary confluence of ideas, experiences, and perspectives from across industries. True leadership lies beyond authority; it’s about distributive leadership built on sensing, relating, visioning, and inventing, where responsibility is shared, strengths are complemented, and where the journey is collective. At IIM Raipur, we strongly believe that leadership is no longer confined to authority or position, but is about vision, adaptability, and purpose. This summit reaffirmed the fact that future-ready organizations will be built not only on technology and innovation but also on people-centric values, inclusivity, and resilience. IIM Raipur is proud to provide this platform where academia meets industry, and where the leaders of today inspire the leaders of tomorrow."
The inaugural session featured the Chief Guest, Sandeep Singh, Managing Director, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. Pvt. Ltd. & Executive Officer, Hitachi Construction Machinery Japan, underscored the significance of innovation, customer-centricity, and sustainability in building tomorrow’s organizations, stating that “Leadership in today’s world is about building organizations that can adapt, innovate, and stay connected to their purpose. What struck me at the Leadership Summit 2025 was the commitment of IIM Raipur to nurture future leaders who not only understand business strategy but also value sustainability, inclusivity, and customer-centricity. In industries like ours, whether in construction machinery or beyond, the future will be shaped by those who can combine technology with human insight, efficiency with empathy, and growth with responsibility.”
With Deepika Rajor, HR Business Partner Global Functions & Strategic Projects, PepsiCo India, joined as the Guest of Honour, she stressed the need for people-first leadership, and the critical role of nurturing human talent to create thriving organisational cultures. Drawing on her own experiences, she stated, “Adaptability is important. While AI has made our lives easier, it cannot take judgement calls. We created technology, technology has not created us. While automation may impact certain roles, it also frees leaders to focus on higher-value contributions, and urged businesses to leverage technology responsibly without losing the human touch.”
Bringing together some of the finest minds from industry and governance, the summit showcased an eminent line-up of speakers including Krishan Mishra, CEO, FPSB India; Pranjal Kamra, Founder & CEO, Finology; Ashish Kapoor, Head – Strategy & Growth, Mahindra Teqo; Dr. Prakash, Partner at ZS Associates; Preeti Ahuja, Global Chief People Officer, Husk Power; Seema Ghosh, Strategic Business Unit Head, Sun Pharma; Prem Singh, IAS (Retd.); Joy Abraham, Global Accounts Director, YASH Technologies; Kiran Khapre, CHRO, Kirloskar Oil Engines; and Niket Gupta, Head of Talent Acquisition, Myntra, among several other distinguished leaders from diverse industries.
