ICE SKATING ASSOCIATION OF INDIA TO HOST SPEED SKATING COMPETITION AT iSKATE, GURUGRAM

New Delhi, June 12, 2018: Ice Skating Association of India announces Speed Skating Open Competition at iSKATE- Ice skating rink & cafe at Ambience Mall, Gurugram on June 16, 2018. The competition shall be held in under 13 age category with about 30 selected speed skaters participating from various parts of India.

The event shall culminate to an award ceremony on June 16, 2018 at 11:00 am wherein the winners will receive certificates from the Ice Skating Association of India. Winners will be adjudged by an eminent jury of experienced coaches including Gitesh Vaidya, Rahul Panderkar, Avdhut Tawade, Manpreet Mirhas and other officials from Ice Skating Association of India.

Prior to the Speed Skating Competition, a speed skating training camp is currently being held from June 11 – 15, 2018 to train speed skaters for the upcoming competition. The training camp has received participation from 30 students from states such as Telangana, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi.
