Maharshi Dayanand Jayanti and Rishi Bodhotsav being celebrated at HMV, Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, February 16, 2015: Principal, staff and students of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya celebrated Maharshi Dayanand Jayanti and Rishi Bodhotsav in the Morning Assembly. Manpreet of B.Com.II and Simran Kaur of 10+1 spoke on the life and achievements of Swami Dayanand, a great social reformer of the 19th Century.
Dr.Mahima Khosla and Archana Kapoor deliberated on contribution of Swami Dayanand to the making of a better society by uprooting the social evils and criticising the religious superstitions.
Parduman from Music Department presented bhajans on this occasion.
Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj motivated the students to follow the path shown by this great thinker.
