HLL’s Peroorkada Unit Celebrates 57th Factory Day

Thiruvananthapuram: HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL) Chairperson and Managing Director Dr. Anitha Thampi inaugurated the 57th Factory Day celebrations of the Peroorkada Factory. As part of the ceremony, the CMD hoisted the flag at the factory. Remesh P., Director (Finance), Benny Joseph, Director (Technical & Operations), V. Kuttappan Pillai, Senior Vice-President (Technical & Operations), and Smitha L.G., Unit Head and Executive Director (Operations), Peroorkada Factory, were also present on the occasion.
HLL is a Mini Ratna public sector enterprise under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The Peroorkada Factory, which commenced operations on April 5, 1969, as the company’s first unit, is among the largest condom manufacturing facilities in the world, with an annual production capacity of 1,246 million pieces.
