Hindu College marks World Mental Health Day with meditation session
Lal Nath Hindu College, Rohtak organised a programme to mark World Mental Health Day under the joint aegis of its Yoga Cell and Women Cell, focusing on stress management and emotional well-being. The programme was held under the guidance of Dr Promila Yadav, coordinator of both cells.

Dr Deepti Sharma, who conducted the proceedings, highlighted the importance of maintaining mental balance amid the demands of modern life.
Assistant Professor Mohit from the Department of Yoga Science led participants through a meditation session and demonstrated breathing exercises to reduce stress and improve concentration.
Presiding over the programme, Principal Dr Anil Kumar Taneja stressed that mental well-being was essential for balancing professional and personal life. He said good mental health enhanced work efficiency and fostered a positive outlook towards life.
Dr Praveen Sharma proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Anju Deshwal, Dr Chitra Sharma, Dr Jyoti, Dr Poonam, Dr Chandana, Dr Sujata, Dr Meenakshi and Dr Mausam, among others, attended the programme.
