Hindi Diwas in MDU, Rohtak – Heena and Priyanka won essay writing and poster making
The speakers and students expressed their commitment to use the Hindi language in their personal lives as well as in official work, at the Hindi Diwas program organized at Hindi Department of MDU, Rohtak.
Rohtak, September 14, 2024: The speakers and students expressed their commitment to use the Hindi language in their personal lives as well as in official work, at the Hindi Diwas program organized at Hindi Department of MDU, Rohtak.
Presiding over the program, HOD Prof. Krishna June said that students will have to make efforts to spread the Hindi language to the masses.
Dr. Rashmi Malik of the English Department and Sunit Mukherjee of the Journalism and Mass Communication Department addressed the program. Dr. Rashmi Malik made a special mention of the popularity of the Hindi Department abroad as well. Sunit Mukherjee talked about linking Hindi language with employment. He also informed about the employment options available in various fields like journalism and mass communication, content writing, advertising, script writing in TV and film industry through Hindi language.
Dr. Rashmi Malik, HOD Sanskrit Department Dr. Shri Bhagwan and Sunit Mukherjee acted as jury members in the essay writing competition organized by the Hindi Department. In the essay writing competition, Heena, Madhu and Nikhil stood first, second and third respectively. Priyanka and Preeti received the consolation prize. Ravi, Atul and Sunita got first, second and third position respectively in the impromptu speech competition. Priyanka, Priya and Monika came first, second and third respectively in the poster making competition. Muskan and Monika received the consolation prize. The program was conducted by research scholar Poonam.
